The broken circumstances of our lives often become the very catalyst of learning how to love others well. The depth of our understanding and the breadth of our ability to love is forged in the darkest times we travel through. There in the darkness- we are met by mercy & carried by grace. In these moments- we come to understand that pain & brokenness does not exempt anyone- rather it is the very thread that weaves together our humanity.
Real love- love that meets us in our darkest of places- confronts our brokenness - and loves us not in spite of -but because it understands that our brokenness is the birthplace of our deepest wisdom. It is this wisdom, the awareness of our own fragility, forged in difficulty and cultivated by grace, allows us to love others well.
